Floor plan for George Mason University situation room

his document is part of a series with the group title DEMOSOPHIA FLOOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. This is a floor plan for the Center for Interactive Management at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia. It is an adaptation of a floor plan used earlier by the Center at University of Virginia. George Mason University had the second Center for Interactive Management with a room designed specifically for use with Interactive Management processes. In Fairfax, the room was installed on second floor of Thompson Hall on the GMU campus, as a part of Warfield's Institute for Information Technology (later changed to Institute for Advanced Study in the Integrative Sciences). The situation room was named "Demosophia" a word invented by Alexander Christakis, which means in Greek "Wisdom of the People." Christakis was Director of the Center for Interactive Management during the time it was in existence at George Mason University. This room continued in use from its inception in 1984 until the dismemberment of the Center in 1989.
