This is a formal Interactive Management Report written as companion to a complete set of ten videotapes of the TMAW 91-2 DSMC Workshop in which results from previous Defense Department (Acquisition) workshops were combined into a single large Problematique to produce a structured view of munitions purchasing and acquisition problems in U.S. Department of Defense. A set of suggestions was generated aimed at improving the Acquisition process, and ameliorating some of the problem areas. Click here to view an 8 page Executive Summary for the report. This Full Report and the Executive Summary are both at Fenwick LIbrary's Warfield Special Collection C0016, Box 91 Folder 10. This is the only Interactive Management report on the DSMC work for which we have the complete set of an entire videotaped workshop.
In the 93 page Full Report, Workshop participants names are listed, and all of the problem statements. None of the DSMC staff who conducted the workshop are named. But it is known that the principal facilitator and workshop planner for these as well as other defense acquisition workshops was Professor Henry Alberts of DSMC. Henry preferred to maintain a low profile in all of this work, due to the political sensitivity of the acquisition problems. List of participants: ARMY Ivory L. Fisher Kathleen T. Love Eugene P. We sent the Executive Summary document to GMU Libraries in a shipment to Special Collections Dept in the year 2007. The full report was found by Rose when unpacking in 2013, and was shipped to GMU April 2013. with request that they store the Report in Box 91, Folder 10 along with the Executive Summary for this workshop which the library already had in that folder.
