Facilitated by Carol Jeffrey, of the Jeffrey Group consultants, Woodbridge, Virginia, an Interactive Management Workshop was conducted which focused on the status of women in Liberia. Participants met to identify social and cultural practices which are harmful to women and girls, exploring their interrelationship with formal public educational and economic policies in a Problematique structural model. This led to their formulation of 108 actions which, if implemented would help to alleviate the identified problems, with identification of 24 such actions which would be the major contributors in planning for improvements.
