The first phase of the workshop was called the Problem Definition Phase. Two days were spend identifying, defining, dlarifying and building and understanding of the issues relevant todisarming and demobilizing the fighters in the Liberian conflict. The second phase of the workshop was the Action Planning Phase. The two days for this phase were spent determining what recommendations could be made to eternal organizations and what actions the participants and their organization, the National Disarmament and Demobilization Commission could take to assist in the implementation of the disarmament and demobiliation process."
