A CIM REPORT: The application of two consensus methodologies, namely Interpretive Structural Modeling and Nominal Group Technique, assisted the National Marine Fisheries Service(NMFS) executives in the definition and struc- turing of anticipated problems for the NMFS of the 1990's, clarification of long-range goals, as well as development of options for the redesign of the NMFS of the future.
