This paper is missing from PAPERS BY OTHERS file cabiner 'Business firms and government agencies use situation rooms as an aid to problem identification and decision making. This same approach cou ld be used to increase public awareness of emerging trends and social options, and to expand the democratic base for goal setting and long-range planning'. NOTE; This was one of several papers which John had stashed in his DSMC teaching materials, in a folder marked: STUDY; Group Work Support Facility Design. The papers were all removed from the teaching materi als files, and placed in PAPERS BY OTHERS file cabinet, where they could be located again, as needed. This was on of a group of reference materials collected together at one time in John's files, for use with the DSMC faculty training activities 1991 and 1992, under an overall folder labeled: Study folder: Group Work Support Facility Design
