This paper is an edited, condensed version of a longer paper titled "The Comparison Among the Schools of Science of Complexity" which Xuefeng had submitted for a conference in China held in year 2001, The longer paper might not have been published. . This article was published when John turned it in to the Panetics Journal in 2000, shortly after Xuefeng sent him the longer article by email. It has a different title from the China conference paper, but is essentially the same, but without references and shortened somewhat. The longer paper manuscript ("The Comparison Among the Schools of Science of Complexity" by Song, Xuefeng & John Warfield, in Warfield Special Collelction Box 21 Folder 51 ) was sent to GMU for Warfield Special Collection. Rose found the Panetics journal article in 2011 and scanned it for a home computer file of Xuefeng's writing.
