Warfield Dependency Sequence - Mathematics of Modeling (lower elements contribute to higher elements)

Summary: Pending
SEE ALSO: ID 1003 TITLED , "John N. Warfield's Systems Science Principles & Laws" This manuscript is a companion to a longer slide presentation document sent as attachment to Rose & Dan Warfield in an email July 2010 following a conference where it was presented. The very nice graphics are probably all done by Joe because he is good at that stuff. A slide presentation on Warfield was given by Mary Simpson while attending the INCOSE conference in July 2010. What follows is an excerpt from an email message she sent Rose Warfield on July 15 following the conference: I was invited to present 'Warfield' materials at the INCOSE International Symposium that has just ended in Chicago, Illinois. INCOSE has started a "Systems Science Working Group" internally, and held a one day workshop within which I gave this presentation. This one day workshop was interesting, and more than a little scary. There were (predominantly) academic speakers - talking about "systems science" - and it became clear that all are speaking a different language. They do not appear to have had a solid grounding in the classical literature to which John refers, and upon which John based his Systems Science. One pointed question from a workshop participant was "Is anyone officially authorized to teach Warfield's work?" Because of Joe & Mary's interest in John's work, Rose has a complete folder on her computer where Simpson stuff is stored including this powerpoint presentation document. Also the full text of Mary's July 2010 email message can be found there, in folder: \John Warfield Papers\Simpson, Mary & Joe\ NOTE: duplicate copies of this paper are purposely saved on Rose's computer, one in the Simpson, Mary & Joe folder, and a second copy in the routine BYOTHERS folder, so it can be routinely linked to this Access database record.
