A reporter for the New York Times interviewed some people from the Santa Fe Institute to see what they had to say about complexity and as usual the folks at the Institute didn't know how to describe it, they were just doing research on it. The name of the author on this article was George Johnson, and about a year later he showed up as an employee of the Santa Fe Institute.
