This was the first of Warfield's "Thought Leaders" papers prepared as one of the handouts for students at the May 1998 Short Course held at George Mason University. It has a nice-looking formal title page in big font, plus a one-page Preface, dated May 1998. The paper give brief bio and discussion of work of twelve famous scholars. They are: Peirce, Lasswell, Perry, Vickers, Foucalt, Harary, DeMorgan, Bochenski, Ashby, Boulding, Gibbs, and Hilbert. The section on Peirce is quite long, while short paragraphs are used for other names.
