A collection of short intellectual biographies completed between 1995 and 1998. Those studied are: Peirce, Lasswell, Perry, Vickers, Foucalt, Harary, DeMorgan, Bochenski, Ashby, Boulding, Gibbs, Hilbert, and Hayek. At the end of the paper is the large complex table titled "Contributions of the Colleagues of Inheritance" featuring nineteen names of persons whose work contributed to an understanding of complexity.

Sent to GMU 27 September 2007. This is a compilation of studies over a period of time from 1995 to 1998, and is basically a collection of short intellectual biographies. The document begins with a lengthy section on Peirce and his work, followed by summaries of the work of other scholars, thirteen in all. They are: Peirce, Lasswell, Perry, Vickers, Foucalt, Harary, DeMorgan, Bochenski, Ashby, Boulding, Gibbs, Hilbert, and Hayek. At the end of the paper is the large complex table titled "Contributions of the Colleagues of Inheritance" featuring nineteen names of persons whose work contributed to an understanding of complexity. This table was Appendix 1 (2?) of “The WandWaver Solution, 1996.” Hayek is not mentioned in the Colleagues of Inheritance table, but his name was added later to the Thought Leaders paper when Warfield revised the document for a printing in August & September of 1998. John used materials from this document as handouts during Lecture No.1 of the Johnson Center Complexity Lectures on 14 September 1998.
