Common Sense in the Stone Age

A talk in which Warfield cites the possible use of his manuscript “Structure Based Science of Complexity” as a possible aid toward the improvement of systems thinking by merging "social sciences" (Foucault’s term) with mathematical logic and the physical sciences. Warfield gave the plenary presentation for this conference at the opening session on July 7. .There are about half dozen jokes to begin the talk. At the end of his talk he cites the possible use of his own book manuscript “Structure Based Science of Complexity” as a possible aid toward the improvement of systems thinking by merging "social sciences" (Foucault’s term) with mathematical logic and the physical sciences. This document is two pages of typed notes which Warfield added to his computer files on 2 November 1999, in typed form, there must have been handwritten pages or cards somewhere preceding the entry into computer files.
