I have no home computer file for this report. I think a hard copy is at GMU in Box 13, Folder 25. Warfield produced an IASIS report on this topic in February 1992. I believe this is it in Box 13 Folder 25 at Fenwick Library. As I recall, Warfield's first report of the Ford work had a plain green cardstock cover, as did most of his in-office reports. In 1992 he sent a copy of the Ford report to Kingsley Haynes, and after Kingsley read it he asked Warfield if it could be a TIPP Working Paper. TIPP slapped on a new title page and a new outside cover, and also added a page or two of their own. TIPP's outside cover was a nice beige cardstock, with a TIPP logo on the front, but inside it had the entire February 1992 report. The title of the TIPP REPORT was "Design & Manufacturing Methodologies: A Comparison of American & Japanese Developments," Working Paper, 23 March 1992. But I don't think that was Warfield's February title. I think Warfield's February title was simply "Comparing Interactive Management with Methods Widely Used in Japan, February 1992." this I found when scouring the SC&A Finding Aid and spotting a title in Fenwick Library's Box 13 Folder 25 that seems to ring a bell. I think the Box 13 Folder 25 document is Warfield's February report. Anyway I am going to enter the record as such, because it makes all the many versions of the report fall into place in time and title, so I can figure out which Box and Folder at GMU holds which document compared with my computer documents which are a mess. This is a guess. But an educated guess. I do not have a complete copy of the February 1992 report except as it eventually morphed into, which is the document fondly called Chapter 14, published in the Handbook. Somehow we didn't save the February 1992 report on disk. Or we lost it, or something. Maybe it is on some of Warfield's CDs in the closet boxes which I haven't unpacked yet, I must remember to be on the watch for it. Goodnight. I am going to bed r.w. 18 July 2013.
