Using Decision Making Tools to Solve Quality Problems.

Summary: Pending

The need for decision making is inherent in overcoming problems related to concepts of quality, quality control and complexity. The example used is the construction of an efficient pump for John Deere Company machines, using ISM techniques which the author had learned while a student of Robert Waller, at University of Northern Iowa. This paper is referenced and described fully in a 1995 report by Warfield titled "Four Case Studies: Applications of Interactive Management." and again in Warfield's book "A Science of Generic Design (1994)" pages 391-397.
