Used as Figure 4-2 in John's Book Understanding Complexity
There is a SHADED ROW OF CELLS AT THE TOP OF THE TABLE, in which are the captions: Behaviorally-based(70% of the laws), Media-based(10%of the laws), Mathematically based (30% of the laws)
The names of 20 laws are bulleted and displayed, sorted between five columns labelled Physiological, Organizational Habitual, Media-based, and Mathematically based. The first three categories (physiological, organizational, habitual) are subcategories, subheaded under a broad column labelled Behaviorally-based.
In the matrix formed by the 6 by 20 cells are placed bullets which describe each of the 20 laws in terms of the 6 captions.
An earlier version of this table was used as "Table 1" in a short manuscript John wrote in March of 1997 (titled:"Categorizing of the Laws of Complexity, pap014.wpd).
