Used as Figure 5-1 in John's book Understanding Complexity The Figure was printed in a Report titled The Work Program of Complexity: Resolving Complexity Cooperatively, which John handed out at his February 1999 Workshop at George Mason University. This file is in cellpack Vertical Coherence in Three-Level Organizations, presented in talk at Chihuahua, Mexico Campus of ITESM, April 7, 1999. It was used again on April 1999 at a talk for Ivan King's group of Army Chaplains, in Arlington, VA Illustrating Discovery and Resolution and the Components of work program of complexity, the figure is a graphic of seven boxes arranged hierarchially, so that a single box captioned "the work program of complexity" is the top, beneath it are two boxes captioned "discovery" and "resolution" and beneath those are four boxes captioned "description, diagnosis, design, implementation"
