A series of nine VHS cassettes of the Rapid Response Manufacturing (FFM) Workshop at Ford Motor Company, 19-21 May 1993 and available now for viewing at Special Collections, George Mason University Library in Fairfax, Virginia.

 

Taped during a two-day Interactive Management session held for faculty and staff representatives from Defense Systems Military College, Ft. Belvoir, VA, 15-17 December 1986. Workshop focused on identifying problems and options for improvement of efficiency and effectiveness. Includes interview segments with Warfield, Fred Waelchi, Brig. Gen. Cabell and John Snodderly. The first Interactive Management session at DSMC.


This is the first of 4 slow-speed videotapes of Ford Motor Company’s Analytical Powertrain Workshop Number 1 (APT-1). The full title is: Slow Speed Tapes of First Interactive Management Workshop on Design of an Analytical Powertrain, held at Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan April 14-16, 1992.



A guest lecture given by Dr. F. Ross Janes for Roxana Cárdenas’ course Teoria Y Teoria Y Metologíade Sistemas at ITESM (Instituto TecnológicoY de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) in April 1996. Janes provides a clear and easy to comprehend overview of Interactive Management. Includes a question and answer session at the end of the lecture.

The disk holds seven short excerpts from approximately 30 hours of video tape filmed during the Product Information Management Systems (PIMS) Workshop, held in Dearborn, Michigan for Ford Motor Company, 11-14 January 1994. Excerpts have not been edited in any way. First of five tapes on an Interactive Management workshop that helped participants to generate and clarify a list of 125 anticipated needs for pediatric health care consumers in the 21stcentury, as well as to propose options which will contribute to the fulfillment of those needs.

First of twelve videotapes of an Interactive Management workshop for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, a regional power plant in upstate New York, on 5 June 1989. Workshop focused on how to get an inactive nuclear facility into operation and was facilitated by Alexander Christakis and David Keever.

A filmed description of the 10-day Interactive Management workshop for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) in 1985-1986. Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) and the Nominal Group Technique assisted NMFS executives define and structure anticipated problems for the 1990s, as well as clarify long-range goals and options for the redesign of the NMFS in the future. Includes interviews with Bill Gordon, Director of NMFS and Alexander Christakis.
