Status of ISM Software in the United States, Report to NSF, Order No. 82-SP-0583, February 1982
Document missing. It provides results of a telephone survey, whereby the author contacted all locations where there was reason to suspect that ISM software might be installed. A primary aim was to determine what kind of computer the software was installed in, since new installations might benefit by using software that had already been converted to a particular machine type. A secondary aim was to determine whether the software was the Battelle version or the Dayton version, and to identify a person that might be telephoned later on for further information concerning local policy re availability of the software by remote telephone line.
Stalking Complexity: A Travelogue for Coping With the Twenty-First Century
Unfinished paper that sought to provide a lay audience with a way to approach complex issues in society. Includes outline of themes he planned to discuss.
Spurious Signal Amplitudes in High Frequency Transistor Mixers
Presented at IEEE Mid-America Electronics Conference, Kansas City, Missouri, 18-19 November 1965.
It is shown that usable design information for high-frequency transistor mixers can be based on Bessel function relations" derived from the static transfer characteristic for several transistor types suitable for HF mixer design. Experimental results are given for measurable mixer products and compared with the values predicted analytically. (summary quote from the article).
Spreadthink: Variability of Beliefs Among Members of Task-Oriented Groups

A Sourcebook for the Design of a Regional Environmental Learning System - 6v
The Sourcebook is a 6-volume Project Report, written for a large environmental education contract directed by John N. Warfield. The project was headquartered at the University of Virginia, with five other institutions as subcontractors (Battelle Memorial Institute, The Far West Laboratory, and the Universities of Dayton, Illinois, and Northern Iowa). The full title is “A Sourcebook for the Design of a Regional Environmental Learning System Volumes I to VI [Project title: Development of an Interpretive Structural Model and Strategies for Implementation Based on Descriptive and Prescriptive Analysis of Resources for Environmental Education/Studies. Submitted to Office of Environmental Education, U.S. Dept. of Education, Contract No. 300-700-4028, August 1979.”
