A draft/outline of a paper that suggests that the practice of referring to subdivisions of human knowledge as “disciplines” should be replaced with the term “domains of science.” Includes a graphical portrayal of the relations between four fields of science (Conceptual Space, Theory, Methodology and Applications.) This graphic would later be published in “A Domain of Science Model for Generic Design, Showing the Interpretation of Links as Purposes Served.” See also, "Notes on Conceptual Science."
A photograph of a plaque with Warfield and Bob House’s names. Located in the Electrical Engineering building at Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pennsylvania.

This is a description of the development of Interpretive Structural Modeling software along with a discussion of how it could be improved. Includes lengthy summaries of four published papers: : 1) Participative Methodology for Public Systems Planning 2) Unified Program Planning (Doug Hill, co-author helped with work to produce this paper) 3) Crossing Theory and Hierarchy Mapping 4) Effective Representations of Hierarchical Structures. Note that QFD is an acronym for Quality Function Development.
